I am Laura Thomson
After more than 12 years practising in the Highlands, Islands and Moray, with Civil Legal Assistance Office, I set up Sutherland Thomson Law Practice, known as ST Law, to focus on helping people set up their Wills and Powers of Attorney. My time at Civil Legal Assistance Office was spent representing vulnerable clients, often at very difficult times of their lives, in court, and at tribunals.
I have helped many families obtain Guardianship Orders for their relatives who have become ill, or their disabled children who have turned 16, and I have good relationships with the professionals involved in that process, in both Highland and Moray Councils.
